I am a new resident and need to set up the gas and electric utility service in my apartment what do I do?

You should contact ConEd at 1-800-752-6633 - ConEd may request a copy of your lease as proof of occupancy.

I have a leak in my bathroom coming from the sink faucet who should I contact?

Contact your building superintendent-Roma with any leaking faucets, showerheads and/or toilets.

 


I have a broken window in my living room and want it repaired. What do I do?

Contact your building superintendent or manager via this website and Window-Fix will visit you to repair your window.

My stove is not working  what should I do?

Contact Roma and he will have Thomas Refrigeration come to your apartment and repair the stove. Thomas also repairs refrigerators.


What do I do if I lose my electricity and/or lights?
This is considered an emergency. Please inform your superintendent and call the emergency line at 212-247-4975  Ext. 350.

I do not have any hot water what should I do?
This is an emergency. For no hot water or no heat please inform your superintendent and call the emergency line at 212-247-4975 Ext. 350.

I am a new resident-how do I pay my rent?

Your rent bill will be placed under your door a few days before the beginning of the month by the superintendent. If you do not get it or if you prefer you can always mail it to Hoffman Management, 300 West 55th Street, Suite 2S, New York, Ny 10019.

What is the best way to contact the super?

It depends on the urgency of your situation. The most efficient way is to submit your issue through this web site at the Contact Us tab. Alternatively, you can e-mail the super at super@cellotak.com or call him with rather urgent issues at 917-837-9778.


Where do I put my trash?
This is an important issue. In the front of the building there are iron bins that are locked and the bins can be opened with your front door key. There are cans for trash and there are cans for recycling both paper and bottles. Please check the signage at the trash bins. It is important to recycle properly and it is actually a law in NYC. Please recycle.

What do I do if I lose my keys?

During the daytime and in most instances you may call the superintendent and if he has a copy of your keys he will assist you. If it is during off hours or especiially late at night you will have to call a locksmith of your choosing. For example, Sky Locksmith at 212-288-7773 or Abbey Locksmith at 212-535-2289 are in the neighborhood
